CRED COGS - A Grim Dark Cyberpunk Role Playing Game

You are one of them. Whether you once roamed the streets or started at the pinnacle of the corporate ladder, you now find yourself among the dregs of society. Your past might be a distant memory, but your present is a harsh reality: a relentless struggle to escape this urban hellscape.

In this dystopian world where the neon lights of towering mega-structures illuminate the night, casting long shadows over your uncertain future, you must decide your path. Will you rise above the grime and corruption, or be swallowed by the darkness?"

CRED COGS is a table top role playing game set in a grim dark cyberpunk future, where companies are willing to turn their employees into grotesque Frankenstein monsters to user those employee serve to full term of their contract. In "CRED COGS" you assume the role of a Cred Cogs, an individual at the very bottom of society’s hierarchy. Though you may be a faceless nobody in the sprawling metropolis, the shadows still have a place for you. Without a true identity, you become the perfect asset for the powerful elite’s "less-than-legal" operations.

Whether you're a gun-for-hire providing muscle, or a freelance hacker diving into corporate networks for espionage, you can customize your character to suit the gigs you take. With a class-free character creation system, you have complete control over your evolution. Will you become a highly specialized operative, mastering a singular skill, or a versatile expert, adept at multiple trades?

The jobs you'll undertake vary wildly, from assassinations and illegal races to high-stakes heists and subterfuge. Your relentless pursuit of credits will lead you from the glistening corporate mega-towers to the dank underbelly of the city’s sewers. Equip yourself with the finest weapons, augment your body with cutting-edge cybernetics, and hack into systems with your cyberdeck.

The narrative world of CRED COGS is inspired by the games that I grew up with namely, The Elder Scrolls, Fallout, and Mass Effect while the gameplay systems take heavy inspiration from classic table top games like Dungeons and Dragon and  Cyberpunk 2020.

Author Notes

CRED COGS is my first attempt at building a table top game and while this game is fully playable,  I have listed the game as still "In Development" as there are still systems and mechanics I wish to implement such as the ability to play solo, hire pre-built NPCs to aid in a mission, item crafting and many more.  Another reason for labeling it as "In Development" is the use of stock images which I wish to replace with custom artwork in the future.
